Key responsibilities of a product packing representative:

Order fulfillment:
Picking and gathering products based on customer orders.

Accurately packing items into appropriate packaging materials.

Verifying product quantity and quality before packing.

Properly sealing packages to prevent damage during transit.
Labeling and documentation:
Affixing correct labels with shipping information on packages.

Completing necessary paperwork including packing slips and shipping labels.

Recording package details and tracking numbers.
Quality control:
Inspecting products for damage or defects before packaging.

Ensuring packaging materials are in good condition.

Reporting any quality issues to supervisors.
Equipment operation:
Operating packaging machinery such as taping machines, label applicators, and sealing equipment.

Maintaining and cleaning packaging equipment as needed.
Inventory management:
Maintaining accurate inventory levels of packaging materials.

Rotating stock to ensure proper product rotation
Safety and compliance:
Following all safety procedures and wearing appropriate protective gear.

Adhering to company standards and regulations regarding packaging.
Other duties may include:
Loading and unloading pallets

Performing basic cleaning tasks in the warehouse

Maintaining a clean and organized workspace

Communicating with other team members and supervisors regarding order issues
