Job Description
Telemarketers sell products or services over the phone to potential customers. They may also solicit donations.
Responsibilities
- Generate leads: Identify and qualify potential customers
- Make sales: Persuade customers to buy products or services
- Answer questions: Provide information about products or services
- Handle orders: Process orders and transactions
- Track customers: Maintain customer records and contact lists
- Schedule appointments: Set up appointments with potential customers
- Communicate concerns: Report issues to management
- Provide technical support: Help customers with technical issues
- Cross-sell and up-sell: Sell additional products or services to existing customers
- Train new telemarketers: Mentor inexperienced telemarketers
